Mission Statement:
The International Studies Student Association exists to unite students within the International Studies discipline in order to promote education and cultural awareness on the University of Arizona campus and within the Tucson Community. This organization believes that cross-cultural relations and competence is paramount in the diverse society that we live in. Establishing relationships with international students in an effort to build a hospitable and edifying environment and the desire to give back to the community with the array of skills that we are developing here at the University are our main objectives. We also seek to be conscious of the many international and cultural opportunities that are happening within the Tucson community in order to expand our knowledge, grow personally, and enjoy one another’s company. The International Studies Student Association is a body without any political affiliations or ideologies and encourages all philosophies and beliefs that promote appreciation and discovery of all cultures.
