Suggested Elective Step 3 - Language & Regional Studies - 21 Units Science & Technology Track

 

This is where the nature of International Studies is most prevalent in that this is where the student gets to choose his/her specific focus. In IDS/IS we have split it up into four sections: Applied Political Economy, Culture, Development, and Science and technology. For the functional track discipline you will be required to complete a total of 21 units, 12 of which must be upper division.

Your responsibility will be to decide which track you would like to focus on. For help on deciding which track you would prefer please take a look at the following guides to each track. Remember each track embodies a specific aspect of international studies and the courses you will take will heavily depend on the track you wish to do.
