University Composition Requirements


English Composition Requirement - complete one of the following:

1. Complete:

ENGL 101 or ENGL 107 or ENGL 103H
-AND-
ENGL 102 or ENGL 108 or ENGL 104H

2. Advanced Placement Exam or Placement Portfolio Review -AND- ENGL 109H

Mid-Career Writing Assessment (MCWA)

1. The Mid-Career Writing Assessment is satisfied by earning a grade of B or better in second semester English Composition (ENGL102, 104H, 108 or 109H).

2. Students who do not earn a grade of B or better in ENGL102, 104H, or 108 must also satisfy a college/dept writing reqmt.

Foundation Mathematics


Complete one 3 unit course from 1 of the following:

A. MATH 105-485, (except MATH 111, 116-116S, 117A-117F, 118, 120S, 197A, 199, 199H, 294A, 299, 299H, 301, 302A, 302B, 397A, 399, 399H, 481)

B. PHIL 110 (with a minimum Math Readiness Test code of 100)
