Applied Political Economy Courses
Required Courses:
Political Science 202 - Introduction to International Relations
Political Science 360 - International Political Economy
Students must also have upper division economics. Taking Economics 330 is strongly preferred, yet it is difficult to enroll in that course except during the summer term. Given recent (2000) changes in policy at the School of Business and Public Administration, what you take from upper-division Economics/BPA offerings will be negotiated with your Track Advisor and the Director of IDS/IS. At this time (Fall 2000) it is preferred that students in the APE Track take one of three clusters of courses that, added together, give a decent grounding in international economics.
